Every package on your shelf is Join or Reserve. Reserve takes a name and a phone, no card.

Reservations is a worklist in the Today band, beside Bookings and Customers. Open, paid this week, expired.

The counter takes the payment
One button. The package starts, the sessions are theirs, and the member sees it on their phone.
For the front desk, not the manager.
It sits in the Today band because it is read when somebody walks in, not when somebody is setting the salon up.
Join or Reserve
A per-salon switch and a per-package choice. No card rail at all means every package reserves.
Nothing spent
A reserved package covers no session until it is paid.
Expires
An unpaid reservation lapses on a timer you set, and the row says so.
On the file
The reservation sits on the customer's file, so the counter sees it at check-in.

Reserved on the Midtown shelf, paid at Midtown, filed under Midtown.
A card later
Pay at the counter once, and the member can add a card on their page for renewals.
