An SMS text costs 5¢. An email costs half a cent.
Both are billed per message from credits. Every marketing tool carries an allowance each month, so most salons send inside it and never top up. The desk prices a campaign before it sends, not after.
Per segment, and a segment is 160 plain characters.

Charged to your card when you approve a drop. A list of nearby homes adds the list builder's price plus 5¢ a home.
With the Full Suite, and it adds up from the tools: the funnel brings 500 texts and 2,000 emails, SMS Marketing another 250 texts, Email Marketing another 4,000 emails. That is $68 of sending at pack rates. Add a campaign tool to any package and its allowance comes with it.
Once, when a location is created — module or not, package or not. It does not expire, and it sits on top of any monthly allowance.
An allowance covers the month it is in and does not roll over. Credits you buy stay until you spend them. A text longer than one segment spends a credit per segment, and a picture message spends three.

Card and bank payments run through your salon's own Stripe account, which you connect from the desk. Stripe charges its rate to your account and pays out to your bank. The Payments tool is $19 a month, and Tan.app adds no percentage of its own.

The till takes cash, the card on file, or a pay link on the customer's phone.

- When can I start using it?
- As soon as your salon is set up: your rooms, services, packages and waivers. On the Full Suite we enter them for you before your first booking, and you add tools from there as you need them.
- What if I want to cancel?
- Cancel any time. No contracts, no penalties.
- Do I have to switch from my current tools right away?
- No. Run Tan.app beside your current system until you are ready. Coming from Helios, we import your customers, memberships, balances and visit history for you, and no member is billed twice in the month you switch.
