An SMS text costs 5¢. An email costs half a cent.
Both are billed per message from credits. Every marketing module carries an allowance each month, so most salons send inside it and never top up. The desk prices a campaign before it sends, not after.
Per segment, and a segment is 160 plain characters.
$10 buys 200 of them.
Per email, $5 a thousand, your letterhead on every one.
$10 buys 2,000 of them.
With Growth & Reach, or the Full Suite. It adds up from the modules: the funnel brings 250 texts and 1,000 emails, SMS Marketing another 250 texts, and Email Marketing another 4,000 emails — $50 of sending at pack rates. Buy those three on their own and the allowance is the same.
Once, when a location is created — module or not, package or not. It does not expire, and it sits on top of any monthly allowance.
An allowance covers the month it is in and does not roll over. Credits you buy stay until you spend them. A text longer than one segment spends a credit per segment, and a picture message spends three.
Tan.app takes nothing per sale.
The Payments module is $19a month. On top of that you pay the processor's posted rate and nothing else — no platform percentage, no per-transaction cut. These are Helcim's published interchange-plus rates and the averages Helcim itself states.

Helcim's posted rates for up to $50,000 a month in card volume; they fall automatically above it. Memberships billed by bank debit skip card fees altogether.

- Your first rows are live in your salon within two to three months of joining. We add rows from there as you need them.
- What if I want to cancel?
- Cancel any time. No contracts, no penalties.
- Do I have to switch from my current tools right away?
